Years ago, before I got pregnant with Ace, I lived in the cutest apartment, in the cutest neighborhood (some days, I secretly dream of packing up the family and moving back!), but the least cute part was the cold winter I spent there. On those chilly nights, I'd come home from work, whip up a hot toddy, and snuggle up. Nowadays, my evenings consist of mom-things like making dinner and tidying the house, but, every now and then, I still crave a cozy night, just me and my toddy.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! What are your plans for the long weekend? We'll be visiting family and eating lots of pumpkin rolls. Hope you have a wonderful holiday full of family, friends, and food. And here are this week's five fun links:
Kindred creates handmade baby clothes by repurposing vintage clothing into simple pieces with lasting quality. Customers submit garments to Kindred, select a design, and, within weeks, receive a one-of-a-kind children's wear piece destined to be loved for generations. The NYC-based goods are locally produced and ready-made designs are also available. Don't you love the idea of giving your most treasured items new life? Wouldn't it be so sweet to see your baby in a design made from your favorite piece?
